The Ellingson herd is renowned for its functionality and predictability and Three Rivers is transmitting this in his progeny across the USA.

His USA Performance Ratios are showing the Three Rivers progeny to be around breed avg at birth but gaining rapidly (105 YW) while showing strong marbling (105) and Rib Eye (103).

3R sourced Benchmark directly out of the USA and market him in Australia through our Beefgen company and likewise throughout South America through our Urugen sister company.

Benchmark is an exciting prospect who is creating great interest in the USA. He is bold in his phenotype yet features genuine performance (calving ease & gain). He is good footed and extra wide based with a big thick top.

A really impressive frame 6+ bull in the flesh. Add to Benchmark's attractive phenotype is a tremendous dam line of model Angus females while sire, Confidence Plus, is producing a raft of sons to stud and very productive daughters. From phenotype, performance & pedigree Benchmark is very difficult to match.

The dam of Benchmark recently sold to $75,000 as a mature cow in the 2022 Montana Angus Maternal Revival sale with a maternal brother selling to $180,000 for a 1/2 share. A maternal brother, Montana Jake, was purchased by 3R in partnership.

Jake will follow on from Benchmark and the success of the Joanie line at 3R. Jake will be used in the stud herd and on heifer breeding programs.

Judgement hit the headlines when a 1/2 interest sold for $180,000 USD in 2022. He is an impeccable individual with an abundance of muscle, wide top and strong breed character.

Jake was purchased by 3R in late 2022 as the top selling lot of the Montana 'Bred for Balance' sale. A maternal brother to Mill Brae Benchmark & full flush brother to the $360,000 val Montana Judgement, Jake was in turn one of the most complete Angus bulls across the selling season.

Phenotypically he is stout, thick, stylish and offers a tremendous curve bending package with added carcass.

Hollywood was a bull that caught our attention in early 2023 and post selling for $125,000 a deal was agreed to bring him to 3R.

Rarely do bulls with the complete package arise. Hollywood was just that - a proven and reliable pedigree, a stout individual with exceptional structure and solid data set. The first Hollywood progeny are very impressive and will be a feature at 3R in years to come.

An exceptional young female backed by the Coleman program who is double bred to the immortal Donna 714. Sired by the $450,000 Coleman Bravo, 9309 is an outcross to Australian genetics and brings with her a maternal resource that is at the absolute pinnacle of the Angus breed globally. There are simply exceptional Angus cattle at every level of this pedigree and unsurprisingly 9309 is breeding incredibly at Sadler Ranches in Oklahoma.

In designing the next stages of the 3R program we needed a maternal nucleus and the Coleman Donna's bare no equal. The first progeny of 9309 are on the ground and look exceptional. 

The outstanding matron and leading donor at Montana Ranch added to the 3R Breeding program. The Donna Family are unmistakably one of the most prolific maternal lines in modern Angus history and 4356 embodies all they offer. To date progeny of 4356 have sold to $70,000 USD with her influence continuing to grow.

A direct daughter of the immortal, Coleman Donna 714, the influence of this line alongside Donna 9309 and Donna 8292 is well on the way to shaping the maternal base for future generations at 3R.

The product of the incredible Coleman Donna line and immortal 714 as the maternal grandam. Add to this pure quality a double cross to SAV Blackcap May 4136 and there is arguably no finer pedigree in the Angus business. 8292 is a powerful maternal cow backed by an unsurpassed lineage. 8292 was sold in Sadler Ranches 2023 sale for $64,000 with a daughter topping the offering at $90,000. 

The first progeny of 8292, sired by Square B Atlantis, are on the ground at 3R and look incredible. 

Emblynette is a donor we introduced to the 3R program in November 2022 upon purchasing an interest with Beartooth Angus. We believe she is one of the USA's most outstanding young cows. She is a performance powerhouse and met all our criteria in searching for a performance maternal lineage to add to the 3R program.

Early on in her career she has achieved performance ratios amongst the best in the breed with 115 WW, 112 YW, 115 Marbling & 110 REA (performance which is deeply embedded in her maternal line).

She is also the dam of leading AI sire, Ellingson Three Rivers 8062 (in use at 3R). Topping it all off, 6279 is excellent structured including Top 1% for both Foot Angle & Claw Shape. A special young cow to join the 3R program.

Mayflower D124 is the matriarch of the Mayflower family at 3R. She is a female that commands attention with an abundance of body dimension, impeccable feet/structure and a strong Angus type. D124 has stood the test of time, remaining in the 3R herd approaching 17 years of age.

The Mayflower family have had a significant impact on the Angus breed with a large number of stud sires and daughters breeding on with high consistency. 

Another Mayflower with an exquisite combination of Angus breed character, brood cow type and slick skin.

K328 is a cow that commands attention for her extra length, perfect shape and overall presence.

Adding to the phenotype of K328, she also features elite carcase numbers including a Top 3% +5.2 for IMF.

K328 progeny are consistent in their in-herd performance ratios - Yearling Wt 97, EMA 100, IMF 113. Her combination of phenotype and performance data sets her uniquely as an extremely versatile breeding cow. 

K328 sons topped the 2022 3R Sale at $30,000 to average $22,000 selling to CPC & Excel Angus Stud respectively.

Pride E030 established a new record for Angus mature cows when sold to 3R in 2020. She is a cow that simply does it all - longevity, incredible feet/structure and very fertile.

E030 commands attention in the paddock as her phenotype is so attractive and equally bold.

E030 has produced a number of herd sires across the country and her daughters in production are elite.

The E030 progeny at 3R are wide based, sound structured and extra attractive. The performance of E030 is evident in the 3R herd with ratios to date - Yearling Wt 107, EMA 111 and IMF 101. 

A daughter, Texas Pride L600, recently sold for $150,000 from Texas Angus.

The E030 daughters continue to be a cornerstone to the 3R & Texas programs.

M492 is a highlight of the 3R herd and symbolic of what the Princess family brings to the breeding program.

They are rich in maternal qualities - easy fleshing, good uddered, broody and compliment some of the more powerful maternal lines at 3R.

Described as phenotypically perfect, a son sired by Benchmark was the $44,000 high seller in 2024.

Consistent with her flush mates to which 2 full sisters reside in the 3R donor program and brothers averaged $17,500 at sale, Undine T006 is an outstanding future prospect at 3R.

The feminine front, wide top and big spring of rib are haulmarks of the flush siblings.
